Malaysia's two time world champion Nicol David secured her sixth World Tour title of the year after bagging the Dutch Open squash championship at the Frans Otten Stadion in Amsterdam Sunday.
Nicol, who is the world number one and top seed easily downed third seed Australia's Rachael Grinham 9-4, 9-1, 9-6 in just 34 minutes in the final.
In the final, Nicol was only struggled in the third game against Rachael. They were neck and neck until 6-6, then Nicol stepped up the pace to seal the game 9-6 and wrap up the match.
In the semi-finals of the Dutch Open on Saturday, Nicol who is based at the Squash City Centre in Amsterdam was also in devastating form.
Nicol crushed fourth seed Natalie Grainger from the United States 9-2, 9-4, 9-2. By contrast, Nicol's opponent Rachael had to struggle to reach the final.
Rachael upset her younger sister Natalie Grinham 9-4, 6-9, 9-6, 9-2 in the semi-final.
It was Nicol's third consecutive win after claiming the Malaysian Open (July) and Singapore Masters last month.
She now remains unbeaten in 12 consecutive professional matches.
Nicol's other World Tour titles this year are the Kuala Lumpur Open (March), Kuwait Open and Qatar Classic (April). Her only loss this season was in the final of the Seoul City Open in April to Natalie.
Nicol's next tournament is the British Open in Manchester, England.
